 I rebuilt my bad credit report and low Empirica score, with the Trans Union credit bureau by getting a credit report online then disputing redated accounts, duplicate or merged accounts and rouge creditor practices. Mail is the quickest most efficient, verifiable way to rebuild credit reports with the 3 bureaus. Some credit can't be rebuilt. 

• The Trans Union Company Inc. maintains records of my credit history sent to them by creditors like Visa credit cards. Most people have credit files with Trans Union and they use the Empirica Score system which is like the FICO and Empirica credit scores. These scores can dramatically affect my ability to obtain loans, insurance, jobs, bank accounts and credit cards.
   
• Trans Union can only report what is sent to them buy creditors which can be mistake riddled with credit fraud, duplicate files, merged files between family members with the same name and MORE. So it is not all their fault. Creditors and collection agencies can report anything they want and the bureau has to report it as such. Many times Trans Union is held hostage unless I free them.
   
• Remember Trans Union is an enormous corporation that must keep records on 100+ million people with many creditors each. Such a huge undertaking requiring such security makes individual phone calls unrealistic. At the very least the shear size makes keeping perfect records and oversight also unrealistic. Individuals must take active care to make sure their credit reports are accurate and up to date.

 I can call or email Bo for credit help if I like, but I make sure I have a copy of my report and I've read Bo's tips before I call. Everyone should get a copy of their report each year for the reasons stated above, to avoid possible embarrassment, possible higher interest rates, identity fraud and I always, dispute merged, fraud, duplicate, re dated and inaccurate files with all 3 bureaus.
